2 General description 9180 Electrolyte Analyzer
Standby mode
Standby mode
The 9180 Electrolyte Analyzer is designed to calibrate automatically every four
hours during normal operation. If sampling will be delayed for an extended time,
such as evenings and weekends, you may place the analyzer into Standby mode to
suspend automatic calibration.

The analyzer can be programmed to automatically enter Standby mode.
u Service codes (p. 164).
To enter Standby mode:
o Press NO until OPERATOR FUNCTIONS? appears.
o Press YES, then NO until Go to Standby Mode? appears.
o Press YES.
The analyzer shows a Standby mode status on the display.
To exit from Standby mode:
o Press YES, and Leave Standby Mode? will be displayed.
o Press YES again.
Depending on the duration of the standby mode, an automatic calibration can be
performed. After that, the analyzer returns to READY.
