Performing a Test
99
The hourglass icon appears and spins until
the sample has been detected and the actual
measurement begins. The time remaining for
the test is displayed.
Note: The time of the measurement depends
on the test parameters. Typically, 8 to 12
minutes are required.
Do not add more blood. Do not touch the test strip until the result is displayed. Always place
the meter on a level, vibration-free surface while applying the sample until the necessary
sample has been absorbed completely by the test strip.
For Troponin T only: If during the test a quali-
tative aspect (positive/negative) is detected,
the corresponding information is displayed
when available (before the final result
display).
