FAULT CODES
GENERAL OPERATION FAULT CODES
NOTE: If you have an error not listed in the chart
below, contact Rytec Customer Support at
800-628-1909.
Table 12 below lists the fault codes associated with the
general operation of the door. Included in this table are
the available fault codes, a description of each fault
code, and the suggested corrective action to clear the
fault. (Door is in the error jog only mode.)

1. Motor brake faulty or improperly adjusted
2. Door position parameters incorrect
1. Repair or adjust motor brake

Door closes past full-closed position.
1. Motor brake faulty or improperly adjusted
2. Door position parameters incorrect
1. Repair or adjust motor brake

Door open run time exceeded.
1. Blocked door
2. Sluggish motor
3. Run time set too low
1. Check mechanical operation of door
2. Check motor. Verify that the motor is
wired to proper voltage. Reference door
electrical schematic for correct motor volt-
age — high or low.
3. Consult factory

(Mtr Stalled)
(motor stalled)
Door travel incomplete (check incoming
power at L1, L2, and L3 on the control
board).
1. Blocked door
2. Jammed motor
3. Encoder incorrectly installed
4. Encoder problem
5. Low start torque or speed
1. Check mechanical operation of door
2. Check motor and brake
3. Check encoder mounting
4. Check encoder operation
5. Consult factory
NOTE: Check that cables are cut to
length and that high- and
low-voltage lines are in sep-
arate conduits.

(travel direction)
Door moves in wrong direction.
1. Encoder wired incorrectly
2. Motor running in wrong direction
3. Motor brake releases early
1. Check encoder and encoder connec-
tions.
2. Check motor rotation. If motor rotation
is incorrect, swap the T1 and T2. The lim-
its will need to be cleared in parameter
210.
NOTE: The controller knows the
motor was rotating back-
wards. You will receive an
encoder fault if limits are not
cleared and reset.
