9.11 Configuration of Reminder to Replace Final
Filters
If sterile or endotoxin-free water is constantly required, the final filter must
be replaced regularly. The device can provide a reminder about a pending
final filter replacement.
t In the “Care” menu, go to the menu item Care Final Filter Timer.
t Press the settings button.
t Select the corresponding final filter.
t Adjust the replacement interval using the arrow keys.
t Confirm and activate the new interval by the resetting the timer.
The currently selected replacement interval now appears under the settings
of the selected final filter, as well as in the list of timers under Information.
9.12 TOC Rinsing (for System with UV Lamp &
TOC)
Sartorius recommends regularly rinsing the TOC instrument in the
operating mode “off”. The rinsing process is started under the Care Rinse
TOC menu.
t The TOC monitor will be rinsed for 5 minutes. Your Arium

system then switches back to the operating mode.
