9.1 CE marking, UL approval and C-Tick
9.1.1 CE marking
• Low voltage directive:
The MOVIFIT
®
basic drive system complies with the regulations of the low voltage
directive 2006/95/EC.
• Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC):
MOVIFIT
®
basic units are designed for use as components for installation in machin-
ery and systems. They comply with the EMC product standard EN 61800-3
"Variable-speed electrical drives". Provided that you comply with the installation
instructions, the CE marking requirements for the entire machine/system in which
they are installed are satisfied on the basis of the EMC directive 2004/108/EC. For
detailed information on EMC compliant installation, refer to the publication "Electro-
magnetic Compatibility in Drive Engineering" from SEW-EURODRIVE.
The CE mark on the nameplate indicates conformity with the Low Voltage Directive
2006/95/EC and the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC.

9.1.3 C-Tick (in preparation)
C-Tick approval for the MOVIFIT
®
