REPLACING THE TONER COLLECTION
CONTAINER
The toner collection container collects excess toner that is produced during printing. When the toner collection container
becomes full, "Replace used toner container." will appear. Follow the procedure below to replace the toner collection
container.

Pull out the paper tray 1.
Hold the tray with both hands and slowly pull out and up at a
slight angle.
The toner collection container cannot be removed unless tray 1
is removed.

Open the front cover.

Pull out the toner collection container.
Hold the toner collection container with both hands and slowly
pull it out.
When removing the toner collection container, it is easier to draw one side at a time.

Place the toner collection container on a flat surface.
Spread newspaper on the surface before placing the toner collection container.
• Do not tilt the part with the hole down, as waste toner will spill out.
• Do not discard the toner collection container. Place it in a plastic bag and store.
Your service technician will collect the toner collection container the next time he comes for maintenance.
