1. System Description
(1) System Name
The name of this system is Data Logger.
(2) System Application
Data Logger is a componential instrument of ‘ Stack TMS (Tele-Metering
System)’ that is used for data collection. Other components are Analyzer, Data
Logger and FEP that are used in business places. Devices for network connection
are a server, a PC and an electric signboard, etc.
Also, external linkages from business places may have connections with two
servers according to their locations. One is located in specially designated
company, which is so called ‘ Ministry of Environment’ s server’ that belongs to
Environmental Management Corporation under Ministry of Environment. The other
is in relevant local government that is so called ‘ local government’ s server’ .
(3) Definition of Data Logger
Data measured by measuring instrument are collected, analyzed, stored by Data
Logger. Then it sends the data to the host computer by real time operation.
Data Logger is an electronic device that is used to collect measuring data and it
can make operation and correction of status, etc. of various measuring instrument
by remote controlling of main host computer when needed.
