4.1.3 Connecting to the device

Connect the USB cable to the MCU control unit (

p. 46, Fig. 27) and the Laptop/PC.

Switch on the measurement system.

Start the program in the "SICK\SOPAS“ start menu.
The Start dialog appears on the screen (can be suppressed for further program usage).

The following Start menu appears after confirmation with "OK".

If required, select the desired language in the "Tools / Options / Language" menu (

p. 56, Fig. 4.1.5), confirm with "OK", and restart the program .
