4.4 Dismantling
Risk of injury due to falling components
A unit consisting of the illumination unit and camera weighs up to approximately 37 kg
depending on the variant.
Measures
▸
Do not perform any mounting work alone.
▸
Ask a second person to hold the camera system during the mounting process.
▸
When replacing the illumination unit or the camera, individually remove the camera
first and then the illumination unit.
▸
The components must be lifted from the bracket in accordance with ergonomic
principles.
▸
Wear safety shoes.
The process of dismantling the individual components is described in chapter
7.2 Replacing a camera system or component.
▸
Before dismantling the camera, clean the cooling fins on the illumination unit and
camera (see chapter 7.1.3 Cleaning the deflector mirror).
This prevents dirt from falling into the housing of the illumination unit.
Follow the instructions in chapter 7.3 Disposal for environmentally friendly disposal on
final decommissioning.
