9.2.19 Vessel dimension A [21]
Sets the height of the vessel bottom for the following vessel shapes:
● Conical bottom vessel (CONIC)
● Parabolic bottom vessel (PARAB)
● Half sphere bottom vessel (HALF)
● Flat sloped bottom vessel (FLAT)
For a lying parabolic ends vessel (PARAE) the set value corresponds to the height of the end
piece.
You can find a figure with the different vessel shapes under "Volume measurement
(Page 118)".
Setting range: 0 to 100%
Factory setting: 0%
For the calculated volume to correspond to the actual vessel volume, set the parameters
Vessel dimension A and Vessel dimension L as follows:
● Vessel dimension L + 2 • Vessel dimension A = 100%.
Example: Vessel dimension L is 80% and vessel dimension A is 10%.
WARNING
Overfilling the vessel
To avoid overfilling the vessel, set a limit alarm: The limit must be below the maximum
measuring range ① and have a sufficient minimum distance to the top edge of the vessel.
