1. Select
an intrinsic safety type of protection "ia", "ib", "ic" or non-intrinsic safety "db", "tb", "tc",
"ec".
2. Connect the device according to the selected type of protection.
3. When operating with non-intrinsically safe power supplies, make the intrinsically safe types
of protection permanently unrecognizable as in the example.

Damage to cable sheath.
At an ambient temperature ≥ 60 °C (140 °F), use heat-resistant cables suitable for an
ambient temperature at least 20 °C (36 °F) higher.

device through formation of condensation if the temperature difference between
transportation or storage and the mounting location exceeds 20 °C (36 °F).
Before taking the device into operation, let the device adapt for several hours in the new
environment.

Incorrect measured values with incorrect grounding

must not be grounded using the "+" connection. It may otherwise malfunction and
be permanently damaged.
If necessary, ground the device using the "-" connection.
