it, you control the CT scanner, evaluate your studies and store
them.

Image reconstruction sys-
tem (IRS)

The image reconstruction system communicates with the scan
system. It uses the measured data of the detector system to cal-
culate the images for each slice. It then passes on the data to
the image control system.
