Protection measures

The following protection measures must be followed when
installing the system.

Power connection

The power supply must be provided to all products operated as
part of an X-ray system through a fixed wiring connection and a
multipole interrupting device provided by the customer. The
equipment must be installed according to specification
DIN VDE 0100, Part 710 or must meet the respective national
regulations.

Fire extinguishers

fire extinguishers must be located in easily accessible and
visible locations.

Site on/off switch
A. 3
In compliance with the MDD (Medical Device Directive) an on/
off switch must be installed on site by the customer.

The on/off state must be visible.

Radiation warning lamps

Radiation warning lamps must be installed on all doors of the
examination room. They must be visible from all areas where
radiation can be released.
