(1) Coronal supine head holder (optional)
(2) Positioning mat
✧ Lay the coronal supine head holder onto the positioning
mat at the head end of the patient table.
✧ Position the patient supine.
✧ Ask the patient to slide far enough beyond the edge of the
table at the head end that his or her head is tilted backward
as far as possible.
