EXPANSION BOARDS
NOTE
1: A variety of expansion boards allow a basic (15-point) 4100 system to be expanded to a maximum of 512
points with Version 4.02 software and 750 points with Version 5 or 6 software.
NOTE 2:
Except for the lo-Amp Auxiliary Motherboard and the 8-Point, 3-Amp Auxiliary Relay Card, all expansion
board etches are rated for 2 Amps at 30 VDC.
MOTHERBOARDS
Motherboards mount on the panel’s backplate and:
l
Connect to each other via edge connectors
l
Provide termination points for contractor wiring
l
Provide sockets for daughter cards.
CLASS A (STYLE D) AND CLASS B (STYLE B) MOTHERBOARDS

Mounting Space Required
Class A (Style D) Motherboard = 4 inches of backplate space.
Class B (Style B) Motherboard = 2 inches of backplate space.
Labeling
Glued-on custom terminal wiring identifiers and glued-on card address label.

Address label tells how to configure the daughter card’s address switches.
