Simplex 4100+ Service Instructions

MAPNET@ POWER SUPPLY/MOTHERBOARD (562-974)
The 562-974 board (Figure 15) acts as a motherboard for a 562-976 MAPNET II@ Interface (Transceiver) board (with
standard 4100 power and communication signals), and provides isolated 36VDC power to drive MAPNET@ lines.

Isolated +36 VDC (+5%, -7%) @ up to 500 mA.
Labeling
Silk-screened custom terminal wiring identifiers and glued-on card address label.
l Address label tells how to configure the daughter card’s address switches.
Connectors and Connector Sockets (Figure 15)
Pl, P2, P3, Jl, and J2
l Identical in function to their counterparts on Class A (Style D) or Class B (Style B) motherboards.
P4 = 3-pin connector for 733-523 harness. Connects to PlO, Pli, P12, or P13 on Master Power Supply board, or
to P4, P5, P6, or P7 on Expansion Power Supply board. Supplies power needed to operate +36VDC
MAPNET@ lines.
l P4-1 = +24VDC.
l P4-2 = 24VDC COMMON.
l P4-3 = Unused.
