Provides routing and preamplification of various audio inputs, on-board alarm tones, and on-board voice messages
to four separate audio outputs.

Allows the system to be configured for single or multichannel operation.

Voice and tone messages for Channel 1 are provided by a built-in Voicenone Generator (VTG)

The 740-637 masked chip contains the cards program.

The 740-681 chip is the Tones and Walk Test
TM Message Only Chip Set (Chip Set No. 1).
Identical in function to Switch SW1 on the 8-Zone Monitor Card.
Jumpers
JWl thru JW5 = Do not exist.
JW6 or JW7 = JW6 if Socket J3 contains a Backup VTG Card. Otherwise, JW7.
JW8 thru JW21 = Factory installed. DO NOT CHANGE.

Remove these components for Pre-Amp Level Audio Input (1 Volt Peak-to-Peak).
Walk Test is protected by U.S. Patent No. 4,725,818.
