Nav window
The navigation window shows the vessel’s present position and
speed as measured by reference systems. In addition to time and
date, the following information is shown:
GPS: GPS name as defined in navigator setup.
Refer page 38.
HDOP: Quality indicator for GPS signal. Refer
Defining the quality limits for the GPS signal, page 40.
STW, HDS: Speed through water and Heading as
measured by log sensor and gyro compass.
Heading is also shown graphically in the
slide bar in the bottom of the window.
SOG, COG: Speed and Course over ground as
measured by active sensor
Drift, Set: Calculated drift and set.
Note Units of measurement and number of decimals used in the Nav
window are configured in the System Configuration dialog
(Misc and Aux. settings). Refer the separate Installation manual.
Beacon window
Beacon: Beacon ID for DGPS signal transmitter
for active navigator.
Age: Age of DGPS differential signal for
active navigator. Refer
