Specifying critical waypoints
Each named waypoint in a route may be defined as critical in the
Critical Points tab in the Waypoint table.
When a waypoint is defined as critical, a Critical warning will
be displayed in the Toolbar before the vessel reaches the
waypoint.
The time for when the message should be shown is defined in
the Time (in minutes) or the Distance (NM) fields in the
Waypoint table.
Defining waypoint procedures
By defining a procedure for a waypoint, an automatic procedure
alarm will be activated before the vessel reaches the waypoint.
Activate the procedure as follows:
1 Create a new route or open the route that should include a
Procedure alarm
2 Activate the Procedure tab in the Waypoint table
3 Press the down-arrow in the Procedure column for the
waypoint that is to have a procedure alarm defined
It is possible to define a waypoint with normal, yellow or
red procedure
4 Save the file when procedure alarms are defined for all
waypoints.
When the vessel reaches a waypoint with defined procedure
alarm, an alarm field will be displayed in the tool bar showing
procedure color.
