Inserting & Removing a plug-in card
The NX40/45 can use two kinds of C-MAP™ SD-Card
plug-in cards:
Chart cards• have chart details required for
navigating in a particular region. When you insert
a chart card, the extra details automatically appear
on the Chart window. You can plug in up to two
chart cards at once. If the chart shows a region not
covered by a chart card, then it displays a simplied
built-in world chart.
User cards• store navigation data. A user card
allows navigation data to be transferred to another
compatible instrument.
Hold the card with the gold
contacts on the far side.
