Context
ThePXMultiSensorConguratordialogboxesallowyoutosetupwhichmeasurementsthe
sensorshallmake,thecommunicationchannelandsomeotherrelevantparameters.
Dependingonyourhardwarecongurationandthetypeofsensor,youmayconguretwo
measurementsoruptove.
Bydefault,PXMultiSensormk2,PXUniversal,andPXMultiCatchsensorscansend2
measurements.WheninterfacingaSRtypereceiverunit,aPXFamilysensorcansendup
tovemeasurements.WheninterfacingaPItypereceiverunit,themaximumnumberof
measurementsasensorcansendistwo.Ifyouwishtomakemorethantwomeasurements
withyoursensor,anadditionallicenseisrequired.Remotefunctionsarenotconsidereda
measurement.
Note
TheTV80onlyallowsyoutocongurePXsensors.Ifyouwishtouseoldersensors(notPX
family),thesemustbeconguredusingtheirdedicatedapplicationsbefore youaddthem.
Procedure
1OpentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.
3AtthebottomoftheSensorlistpage,selectAddNewSensor.
TheAddNewSensordialogboxopens.
4InthePXSensorConguratordialogbox,selectcommunicationportandsensortype,
thenselectConnect.
5Inthetrawlillustration,selectwherewillplacedthesensoryouareprogramming.
6Selectthedirectionthesensorisgoingtopointto,eithertothevesselortothetrawl.
7Choosethemeasurementsyouwantthesensortomakeanddenetherelevant
parameters.
