preferences.Youcanusedifferent
settingstocreateasmanyuser
prolesasyoulike,andgivethem
anyname.Allthesettingsyou
havechosenusingfunctionsand
dialogboxesintheTV80user
interfacearesaved.
ThefolderstructureontheTV80is
xed,butyoucancreateyourownlenames.

SometimesitmaybeusefultoresettheTV80toworkwithasetofknownuser
settings.Asetof"factorysettings"isprovidedforthispurpose.
ThesesettingsarethedefaultvaluesprovidedwiththeSimradTV80.Thesettingsmay
beputtouseifyouareuncertainofwhichvaluestouse.Theyoffer"bestpractice"
settingsfortypicaluse.Whenyouwishtoapplythefactorysettings,asmalldialog
boxwillappeartorequestconrmation.
Thedefaultusersettingscannotbealtered.

retrievedandputtouse.Thisshortensdownthetimeittakestogetstartedwiththe
TV80.
Toactivateeitheradefaultusersettingorasavedone,clicktherelevantnamein
thelist,andSelect.
