InterferenceFilter
TheInterferenceFilterwill
removenoiseandfalseechoesfromotherechosoundersandsonarsinthevicinityof
yourownvessel.Thisisamedianlter.
Whenyouoperateinareaswithsubstantialreverberationduetothebottomconditions,
orinshallowwaters,youmayexperience“jumps”orspikesinthedatareceivedfrom
thesensors.Sucherrorscanalsobecausedbyothertypesofhydroacousticequipment
operatingontheTV80frequencyrange.Thislterhasbeenimplementedtoremedy
forsuchinterferenceproblemsaswell.
TheInterferencelteroffersfourdifferentsettings.Thedefaultsettingofthe
InterferenceFilterisWeak.
•InOffmode,thelterisdisabled.
•InWeakmode,thedatafromthelastthreesensortransmissionsaremedianltered.
•InMediummode,thedatafromthelastvesensortransmissionsaremedian
ltered.
•InStrongmode,thedatafromthelastsevensensortransmissionsaremedian
ltered.
