DifferentcatchmonitoringsensortypesmaybeusedwiththeTV80system;ITIsensors,PI
sensorsandPXsensors.TheSelectSensorsdialogboxallowsyoutodenewhichcatch
monitoringsensorsyouwishtouse,itsmainparametersandwheretheyareplacedinthe
gear.WiththeSelectsensorsdialogbox,youarenot
conguringthecatchmonitoring
sensors.Catchmonitoringsensorsneedadedicatedtooltobecongured.
Note
TheTV80onlyallowsyoutocongurePXsensors.Ifyouwishtouseoldersensors(notPX
family),thesemustbeconguredusingtheirdedicatedapplicationsbefore youaddthem.
Youmustselectwheretoplacethesensorsonyourgear.Thegearillustrationwillshowan
iconintheshapeofasensorindicatingwherethesensorislocated.Nomatterthesensor
youchoose,theiconwillalwaysbethesame.
Theoptionsontherighthandsidewillvarydependingonyourinitialchoice.Onceselected
thetypeofsensor,differentparameterswillappeardependingonyourchoice.
DifferentcatchmonitoringsensortypesmaybeusedwiththeTV80.Beforeyoucanread
datafromthecatchmonitoringsensors,youmustdenewhichsensorstouse,andwhich
measurementstheyshallprovide.Youmustalsodenethecommunicationparameters.
