Thisfunctionallowsyoutoapplyaselectedamountofgaintothereceivercircuitry.If
youdecidetoswitchtheAGCoffyoumustsetthegainmanually.
ThedefaultandrecommendedsettingisMedium.
MultipathFilter
TheMultipathFilterisdesignedtoremedyforreections,spikesandtime-laginthe
sensordata.Theseproblemsmayoccurifneighbouringchannelsareused,orifthe
TV80isdisturbedbyotherhydroacousticsystemsinuseonyourownorothervessels.
Whenyouoperateinareaswithsubstantialreverberationduetothebottomconditions,
orinshallowwaters,youmayexperience“jumps”orspikesinthedatareceivedfrom
thesensors.Sucherrorscanalsobecausedbyothertypesofhydroacousticequipment
