Singer 560 - Setting the Lace Carriage on the Needle Bed; IF THE RIBBER HAS ALREADY BEEN CONNECTED WITH THE KNITTER

SETTING THE LACE CARRIAGE ON THE NEEDLE BED
Switch "0 F F" the machine, discon n ect the Curl Cord
from the standard Carriage and remove it from the needle
bed . Take out the Lace Carriage with La ce Arm attached
from the Box, raise the Handle and set it on the Needle
Bed as shown.
IF THE RIBBER HAS ALREADY BEEN CONNECTED
WITH THE KNITTER, follow the instruction and caution
given below to use the Lace Carriage on the Knitter.
•
DO NOT attach the Ribber Arm to the Lace Carriage.
• If the Ribber is attached with the high-head Ribber
Joiner Screws, replace them with the low-head screws
packed with the Lace Carriage .
• Remove the Close Knit Bar from the Knitter Needle
Bed if it is in use.
• To knit the lace fabric as the Ribber is attached, drop
the Ribber to its fullest extent and cover the needle bed
with card board .
