SETTING UP THE AUTOMATIC YARN CHANGER

The Model SRP-50 Ribber must be connected
with the knitter when the Automatic Yarn Chan-
ger is to be used.
Make sure that the Ribber, SRP-50, is correctly attached
to Knitter, before attaching Yarn Changer following the
procedure below.
1. Using a pencil, push Needle Retainer from left side of
Knitter Needle Bed until you can see right end of Needle
Retainer protruding 2-3cm.

Loosen Securing Wheel " A" of Yarn Changer in the
direction as shown until it stops .
(As Securing Wheel is loosened, Secruing Plate "B"
moves forward .)
3.
Insert Securing Plate "B" into Guide Hole of Needle
Retainer and turn Securing Wheel "A" in the arrowed
direction, as shown in the opposite diagram until Secur-
ing Plate is firmly in s talled.
Be sure that the edge of Yarn Changer is firmly set
against Side Cover.
(While Yarn Changer is being used on the Knitter, right
end of Needle Retainer must remain protruded by
2-3cm.)
