(4) Move Carriage from right to left till yarn goes into
Yarn Feeder.
(5) Guide yarn along Yarn Guide "B" to thread it into
Main Yarn Feeder "C" .
(6) Move Carriage to left end of Needle Bed .
3. Knit the initial row .
Take up slack of yarn and move Carriage from the left
to the right.
Yarn will be hooked alternately on Knitter and Ribber
needles in zigzag.

1. Suspend Cast-on Comb.

( 1) Take out short Cast-on Comb ( 1 00-need I e) and re-
move wire from its teeth .
(2) From underneath, insert Comb between Knitter and
Ribber Bed, then push it carefully upwa(ds until
teeth clear zigzagged yarn.
Hang Comb so that it is balanced hori zonta lly bet-
ween working needles.
