Singer 560 - Automatic Yarn Changer Operations; Automatic Yarn Changer Components

- 4 Place P Carriage (without P Presser) on the right
side of Needle Bed (refer to page 60).
Move P Carriage to the left and back again so that
stitches are removed and the needles align in B
position again.
- 5 Set Cam Lever to "S" (SLIP) and knit 3 rows
with waste yarn.
- 6 Place P Carriage on the left side of Ribber Needle
Bed (refer to page 60), and slide it to the right to
push up needles to C position.
- 7 Exchange waste yarn for main yarn in Yarn Feeder
and knit from the left to the right.
- 8 Slide P Carriage on Ribber from the left to the
right.
- 9 Knit from the right to the left.
-10 Push both end needles on Knitter to A po sition.
8- 1 Slide P Carriage on Ribber from the left to the
right to push up needles to C position.
- 2 Set the Pattern Card and push 0 FF the Inspection
Button. Knit 1 row from left to right.
(On Ribber, all the needles inC position knit, and
on Knitter, only selected needles knit.)

Push up Ribber needles to C pos ition using P Car-
riage.
- 4 Knit one row from the right to the left.

Remove stitches on Knitter using P Carriage.
Then knit 1 row from left to right.
Repeat8-3 - 8-5 for main knitting.
Suspend Hanger Combs with Weights after 1 0 rows and
advance them every 10 rows upward s.
M- ESH KNITTING
Mesh-like knitting is worked in the same manner as done
for drive lace knitting using thin yarn.
The sample is knitted with Patt ern No.13-(41).
When steaming, slide the iron in the direction of wale of
the fabric.
