A lignment
WARNING
Befor e checking track alignment, ensur e tha t the track is free
of al l part icles which c ould be thrown out while track is r otat-
ing. Keep hands, tools, feet and clothing clear of track. Al-
wa ys lift the s nowmobi le on a wide -bas e s tand w ith a rea r de-
flecto r pa nel. Ensure no one is s ta nding in clos e prox imity to
the snowmo bile, especially at the rear o f the track. Never ro -
tate track a t high speed.

pieces of torn track, or an entire severed track to be violent-
ly thrown bac kw ards out o f the tunnel with trem endous fo rce ,
possibl y res ulti ng in the loss of a le g or other se riou s injury.
Start the engine and accelerate slightly so that track barely turns.
This must be done in a short period of time (15 to 20 seconds).
Check that the track is well centered; equal distance on both sides
between edges of trac k guides and slider shoes.
