Homing-Related Parameter
Description
Home from Joystick?
When set to 0, double-tapping the joystick button will not find the home
position. Set this value to 1 to allow homing with the joystick.
Absolute Home Sensor
Position
These values represent the coordinates of the home position based on
the mount's mechanical homing sensor location.
The Paramount ME, Paramount ME, Paramount MX and Paramount MX,
and Paramount MYT home position is hour angle (HA) 2.0 and declination
0.0 in the northern hemisphere and HA 2.0 and declination 0.0 when the
mount is configured for the southern hemisphere (see “Hemisphere
Setup” on page 134). These values cannot be changed.

Parameter
Description
Focus Multiplier
A number between 1 and 100 that can be used to increase the mount’s
pulse focuser adjustment. The default value is 1.
Flip Hour Angle
See Flip Hour Angle on page 112 for a description of this parameter.
Temperature Slew Rate
Reduction Percentage
Reduce the slew rate by this percentage when the ambient temperature
drops below the Temperature Slew Rate Threshold value.
Temperature Slew Rate
Threshold
When the ambient temperature, in Celcius, drops below this value,
reduce the slew rate by the Temperature Slew Rate Reduction
Percentage.
Kernel State
The state of the ProTrack kernel.
0 Tracking adjustments off.
1 Tracking adjustments on.
See “Activating ProTrack” on page 161 for more information.
Call Level Logging
When turned on, all call level functions will be logged and displayed on
the Logging window.
Packet Level Logging
When turned on, all packet level communications will be logged and
displayed on the Logging window.
Focus Pulse Slow
The number of milliseconds the built in focuser is pulsed when the Slow
focus button is clicked.
