The Paramount must be turned on before the operating system will recognize the USB
port on the Electronics Box.
2. From TheSky Professional, choose the Telescope Setup command from the Telescope menu.
3. On the Imaging System Setup window, Imaging System list, highlight Mount.
4. Click the Mount Setup pop-up menu, then the Choose command.
5. Expand Software Bisque, select Paramount ME Series 6, Paramount MX Series 6 or Paramount MYT
Series 6 and click OK.
6. On the Mount Setup pop-up menu, click Settings.
7. Choose the Port or Device Name (macOS) with the Software Bisque MKS 6000 description and click OK.
8. Click the Connect command from the Telescope menu and then click the Close button on the Imaging
System Setup window.
9. The Telescope window’s Status text shows the current state of the mount, which is Not Homed for mounts
with motor-based encoders. In this case, click Startup, Find Home to start the homing process. If your
mount has absolute encoders, the mount does not need to be homed.
