7-19. MIC Assembly Replacement
Replacement
1. Removing the MD cover
Remove the MD cover. (Refer to Section 7-2.)
2. Disconnecting the flexible card wire
Disconnect the flexible card wire from the
connector (CN7) on the MS-64 board located on
the back side of the MD chassis.
3. Moving the S/T reel tables
Turn the reel shift motor gear in the arrow
direction by a finger and bring the S/T reel tables
to the standard cassette position (the most front
side).
4. Removing the L push plate
Remove the L push plate. (Refer to Section 7-3.)
5. Removing the MIC spring
Unhook the hooks on the both ends of the MIC
spring which hold the MIC arm and the RLR
assemblies.
