SAILPLANE PRE-CONFIGURED MIXES
When Sailplane is selected as the model type, the iX20 will pre-congure four commonly used
mixes. For the following mixes, it is normal to set the offset close to or at the end point because
of the geometry of sailplane ap servo linkages. It is also normal to use a signicant amount of
trim on the ap channels to center the control surfaces with these congurations.
Aileron to Rudder (AIL > RUD)
The Aileron to Rudder mix is commonly used for coordinated turns. When active, as aileron is
applied, the rudder moves in the same direction as the turn (right aileron input results in right
rudder output). If Switch is assigned to Flight Mode, a second Switch option allows an additional
switch to be assigned to activate up to three aileron to rudder mixes for each ight mode.
