13. (180-U3 pumps and larger) Remove the seal housing O-ring
from the seal housing.
NOTE: On the 180-U3 pumps and larger, the seal housing O-
ring is installed on the seal housing.
14. Remove the drive ring. (040-U3 pictured.)
Remove the shaft ring. (Applies to pump sizes 130-U3 and
smaller only. 180-U3 and larger pumps do not have a shaft ring.)
1. Repeat for the second seal.
NOTE: To assemble a double mechanical seal for pump sizes
130-U3 and smaller, continue. For 180-U3 pumps and larger, see
page 57.
