1. To prevent electrical shock to the patient and/or operating room
personnel, do not immerse the ESU or allow fluid to enter the
chassis or connector.
2. Before and after each use, inspect the cord insulation for cracks,
nicks, cuts, dents, or depressions. Any irregularity will decrease
the insulation effectiveness and may result in shocks to the
patient and/or operating room personnel.
3. To prevent injury or electrical shock to the patient and/or
operating room personnel, always power Off the ESU when
connecting or disconnecting accessories.
Caution To avoid potential damage to this device, please note
the following cautions:
1. Always power Off the ESU before connecting or disconnecting
the Sidne™ interface kit.
2. Ensure that the Sidne™ ESU EDAM (hereafter referred to as
“EDAM”) is securely mounted to the ESU or cart.
