CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND
PRESSURE SENSOR CONNECTOR.
Measure the resistance of harness between
ECM and pressure sensor connector.

(8135) NO. 19 - (E21) NO. 2:
I CHECK POOR CONTACT.
Check poor contact in pressure sensor con-
nector.
CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND
PRESSURE SENSOR CONNECTOR.

Is the resistance less than 1

Go to step 8.
Is there poor contact in pres-
sure sensor connector?
Repair poor con-
tact in pressure
sensor connector.
Is the value more than 282 kPa Repair battery
(2121 mmHg, 83.50 inHg)? short circuit in har-
1)Turn the ignition switch
to OFF and Subaru
Select Monitor or the OBD-II general scan tool
switch to OFF.
2)Disconnect the connector from pressure
sensor.
3)Turn the ignition switch to ON and Subaru
Select Monitor or the OBD-II general scan tool
switch
to ON.
4)Read the data
of intake manifold absolute
iressure signal using Subaru Select Monitor or
OBD-II general scan
tool.
