3-26 ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM
LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE CAUTION SYSTEM
CONDITION:
The system is activated when the battery voltage decreases to less than 9 volts for 30 seconds.
ACTION:
Engine speed No engine speed limiter is activated.
Caution lamp “CHECK ENGINE” lamp lights continuously.
Caution buzzer Sounds in a series of long (1.5 sec) beeps.
RESET:
This caution system is automatically reset when the battery voltage increases to more than 9 volts. Refrain
from using electrical equipments requiring high amperage such as hydraulic trim tabs, hydraulic jack plate,
etc. after this caution is activated.
