1.PressMenuandselectWireless headset>Options>Power-on option,andchangetotherequired
option.
Changing the Radio's Operating Mode
Thewaytheradioperformsbasicfunctions,suchassendingandreceivingcalls,dependsonthenetworkoperating
mode.Thetwooperatingmodesthatmaybeavailableontheradioare:
conventionalmode(seeOperatinginConventionalMode),and
trunkedmode(seeOperatinginTrunkedMode).
Tochangetheoperatingmode:
1.PressMenuandselectChange mode.
Dependingonhowtheradioisprogrammed,thefunctionkeymaybepressedtochangemode.
2.SelectYestoconfirmyourselection,andyourradionowshowsthedefaultdisplayforeithertrunkedor
conventional.
Setting and Viewing the Radio's Time and Date
Theradiomaybeprogrammedtouseitsinternalreal-timeclock.Itmaybepossibletoviewthetimeanddateviaa
functionkeyorviatheradiomenu.Otherfeaturesmayalsomakeuseoftheradio’stimeanddatebyshowingentries
basedonthecurrentclocksetting.
To set the time, date, and time format:
Theradiomaybeprogrammedtoallowyoutosettimeanddatemanually,ortimeanddatecanbe
updatedusingaGPSsource.
