The following notations are used throughout this guide:
CAPITALS
italics
Material you enter exactly
as
it appears.
Words, letters, characters, or values you put in
command lines from
a
set of acceptable entries.
Elsewhere, italics are used for emphasis.
Items preceding the ellipsis may be repeated.
Items enclosed in brackets are optional.
nnnn
is
a
hexadecimal number.
nnnnn
is an octal number.
A
key on your keyboard.
Is
used
to
indicate
a
space (ASCII Code
32)
in
text
when spaces are an important part
of
a command
or statement.
