5. Adjust trigger video settings as needed in the menu that appears. For example,
to trigger on either the first h alf of a frame (Field 1, odd) or the second half of
a frame (Field 2, even), select that field from the FIELD menu and the signal
part of that field will be displayed. (See Figure 35.)
Select ALL LINES to trigger on all line synchronization pulses (horizontal
synchronization). The signal of one line is displayed on the screen and
the screen is u pdated with the signal of the next line immediately after the
instrument triggers on the horizontal synchronization pulse.
To view a specific video line in more detail, you can select the line number by
pressing the function button under the LINE NR. menu and then using the
up and down arrow keys to select the line number. The signal of the selected
line will display on the screen. The screen will be continuously updated with
the signal of that line.

Trigg er On Pulses
Use pulse width t riggering to isolate and display specific pulses that you can
qualify by time, such as glitches, missing pulses, bursts, or signal dropouts.
