Verifying the Main Antenna
P/N 7010-0697
4-15
Plotting the Easting lines shows that the
Delta offset error between facing North
and South is a constant when curled or
extended (Table 4-4).
To rotate the machine position, simply
decrease the Aux antenna distance-to-
boom center value in 3DMC using the
following steps. Do not physically move
the antenna.
1. Divide the Delta error value by 2.
2. In 3DMC, navigate to the Excavator Antenna Mounting screen in
the machine builder. Reduce the Aux antenna-to-boom pivot by
0.03 Ft. (Figure 4-10 on page 4-13).
3. Repeat step 1 on page 4-14 to step 13 on page 4-14 to verify the
correction. There should be no difference between the North and
South numbers.

Facing N 520.39 520.40
Facing S 520.45 520.46

NOTE
If the lines are not parallel, see “Verifying Aux
Antenna to Boom Length” on page 4-7.
