10. Open the blade cover, as shown in the following image.

11. Remove the two screws securing the blade guard with a
Phillips screwdriver. Set the screws and the guard aside.

12. Identify the tensioner on the top of the saw head.

Note: Only use the inner circle on the tensioner
for 3/4"blades.
