pullinginthe48Vlinecontactor.Aminimumvoltage(38V)wasnotachieved.Thisfunctionalityisbuiltintothe
motorgeneratortodetectothermotorfaultsonthe48Vbus.

Afailureexistsintheprechargecircuitthatchargesthe48Vlinecontactor.The38Vminimumvoltagewas
notachieved.
Disconnectonemotoratatimeuntilthefaultisnolongeractive.TheS/Gmustremainconnectedbecauseit
issuesthisfault.
Note:Ifonecuttingunitmotorisreportingacommunicationfaultbeforebeingunplugged,thatislikelythe
shortedmotor.
RecommendedServiceActions
Step1:Verifythatthefaultrepeats.
1.ClearthesystemfaultsfromtheInfoCenter.RefertoClearingFaultsfromtheInfoCenter(page19).
2.Operatethemachine.

Step2:Isolatethecuttingunitmotorstolocatetheproblemsource.
Disconnectonemotoratatimeuntilthefaultisnolongeractive.TheS/Gmustremainconnectedbecauseit
issuesthisfault.Ifonecuttingunitmotorisreportingacommunicationfault,thatislikelytheshortedmotor.The
enginecannotbestartedwhilethisfaultisactive.
Step3:Replacethecuttingunitmotorcausingthefailure.
1.Removethefailedcuttingunitmotor.
2.Installthereplacementcuttingunitmotor.
3.GotoStep4beforetestingthefunctionofthereplacementcuttingunitmotor.
Step4:UseToroDIAGtoprogramthereplacementcuttingreelmotor.
