Thisfaultisreportedwhencuttingunit2wasatzeroRPMformorethan3seconds.Insufcienttorqueexists
torotatethereelmotor.
Note:TheGreensmasterTriFlex3320and3420aredesignedtocutshortgrassongolf-coursegreensand
maintainedturfonfairways.WhenusingaTriFlextocutlongergrassonafairwayorintherough,thecutting
unitmotorsmayoverheatsimplybecausetheyarebeingoverworked.Beforetryingtotroubleshootthisfault,
interviewtheoperatoraboutthemowingconditionswhenthefaultoccurred.Thesourceofthefaultmaybeas
simpleasthemachinebeingusedinamanneroutsideitsdesignedpurpose.
Note:IfyourmachinereportsaFault14:HighTemperatureWarning–ReelMotor2andafault18,
troubleshootthefault14rst.Asideeffectofafault14isreducedreelspeed,whichcausesanincreased
chanceofafault18,MotorSpeedStall–ReelMotor2.
CircuitDescription
Allthreecuttingreelmotorsandthestarter/generatorarelinkedonthe48VCANbuscircuit.

Step1:Verifythatthefaultrepeats.
1.ClearthesystemfaultsfromtheInfoCenter.RefertoClearingFaultsfromtheInfoCenter(page19).
2.Operatethemachine.
