troubleshootingmayberesumedwhereyouleftoff.GotoReturningtheMachine
toService(page21)andfollowthestepslisted.
Step3:UseToroDIAGtoprogramthereplacementcuttingreelmotor.
1.Removetheaccesspanelfromtheoutercoverofthecontrolarm.
2.ConnectaPCwithT oroDIAGsoftwaretothemachineviaaT oroDIAGCable(PartNo.115-1944).Refer
toT oroDIAG–QuickStart(page22).
3.UsetheToroDIAGsoftwaretoreprogramthemachineinaccordancewithToroDIAGUser’sGuide.The
replacementcuttingreelmotorisprogrammedduringthereprogrammingofthemachine.
4.DisconnecttheT oroDIAGcablefromthemachine.
5.Installtheaccesspanelontotheoutercoverofthecontrolarm.
6.GotoReturningtheMachinetoService(page21)andfollowthestepslisted.
Step4:Inspectthewiringforcuttingreelmotorposition2.
1.GotoPreparingforTroubleshootingand/orTesting(page20)andfollowthestepslisted.
2.Unplugthe48Vbatterydisconnecttopreventunexpectedcuttingunitoperation.RefertoConnectingand
Disconnectingthe48VPowertotheCuttingReelMotors(page18).
3.Followthecuttingreelmotorcablefromcuttingreelmotor1totheconnectorsmountedonthetractionunit.
Note:The2cuttingreelmotorcableconnectorsaresecuredwithclipstotheconnectorplate.The2
e-reelharnessconnectorsarenotsecuredtotheconnectorplate.
4.Disconnectthee-reelharnessconnectorsP19andP20fromthe2cuttingreelmotorcableconnectors.
5.Inspectthe2cuttingreelmotorcableconnectorsandthe2e-reelharnessconnectorsforthefollowing:
•damage
•corrosion
•debris
•properalignmentandseatingofthepinsinsidetheconnectors
6.Inspectthe2cuttingreelmotorcableconnectorsforproperwirecolorperpin,asshowninthefollowing2
tables.
