1.Locatemachineonalevelsurfacewithcuttingdeck(orimplement)lowered
andkeyremovedfromthekeyswitch.Chockwheelstokeepthemachine
frommoving.
2.Ensurethatallpartsremovedfromtheengineduringmaintenanceorbuilding
areinstalledtotheengine.
3.Ifenginebracketswereremovedfromtheengine,installthemtoengine
(Figure19).
4.Ifenginemountbrackets(items20and28inFigure15)wereremovedfrom
frame,securethemtoframewithboltsandlockwashers.Torquescrewsto
68to81N∙m(50to60ft−lb).
IMPORTANT
Theleft,rearshockmount(item15inFigure15)isdifferentthanthe
other3mounts.Ifshockmountswereremovedfromenginemount
bracketsonframe,ensurethattheshockmountwithredpatchis
correctlyinstalledatleft,rearposition.
5.Positionfanshroudaroundtheenginefan.
6.Reinstallenginetomachine.
A.Attachshortsectionofchainbetweenlifttabslocatedoneachendof
thecylinderhead
B.Connectahoistorchainfallatthecenteroftheshortsectionofchain.
Applyenoughtensionontheshortchainsothattheenginecanbe
supported.
