pumpscanbeprimedbyusingaremotestarterswitch(refertoSpecialT ools
(page4–31))tocranktheenginewhichallowsthepumpstoprime.
Usethefollowingproceduretoprimethehydraulicpumps:
1.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFpositionandthekeyisremoved
fromthekeyswitch.
2.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulicreservoirandaddcorrect
quantityofuidifnecessary;refertotheOperator’sManual.

solenoidB+terminalandpositivepostofthebattery.
4.Engagetheremotestarterswitchandcrankthestarterfor30secondsto
primethehydraulicpumps.Waitfor30secondstoallowthestartermotorand
startersolenoidtocool.Repeatthecrankingprocedureforthesecondtime.
5.Disconnecttheremotestarterswitchleadsfromthestartermotorsolenoid
terminalandpositivepostofthebattery.
FlushingtheHydraulicSystem
IMPORTANT
Flushthehydraulicsystemwheneverthereisaseverecomponent
failureorthesystemiscontaminated(forexample,theuidappears
milky,black,orcontainsmetalparticles).
