themowspeedlimiterisplacedintheTRANSPORTposition.Theswitchmounts
toabracketonthefootrestplatform(Figure153).Thesensingplateforthe
mow/transportswitchisthemowspeedlimiter.
AdjustingtheMow/TransportSwitch
1.Thegapbetweenthemow/transportswitchandthemowspeedlimitershould
be1.4to2.2mm(0.055to0.085inch).
2.Ifgapisincorrect,loosenthejamnutsthatsecuretheswitchtothefootrest
platform.Positiontheswitchwithjamnutstoallowcorrectgapbetween
theswitchandthemowspeedlimiter.Tightenthejamnutstosecurethe
adjustment.Torquethejamnutsto18to22N∙m(159to195in-lb).After
thejamnutsaretightened,ensurethatclearancebetweentheheadofthe
mow/transportswitchandthemowspeedlimiterhasnotchanged.
3.Afteradjustmenttothemow/transportswitch,usetheInfoCenterdisplay
toverifythatthemow/transportswitchandcircuitwiringarefunctioning
correctly;refertoUsingtheInfoCenterDisplayforTroubleshooting(page
5–26).
