Theheadlightswitchislocatedontheoperatorsideofthecontrolarm.This
rockerswitchallowstheheadlightstobeturnedonandoff.
TestingtheHeadlightSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdecks,settheparking
brake,andshutofftheengine.
2.Removetheleftcontrolarmcovertogetaccesstotheheadlightswitch;refer
toDisassemblingtheControlArm(page6–24).
3.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition.Disconnectthewireharness
electricalconnectorfromtheheadlightswitch.
4.TheheadlightswitchterminalsareidentiedinFigure170andthecircuitryof
theswitchisshownintheCircuitLogicT able(page5–59).Withtheuseofa
multimeter(ohmssetting),testtheswitchfunctionstodetermineifcontinuity
existsbetweenthevariousterminalsforeachswitchposition.Checkthe
continuitybetweentheswitchterminals.
